About the Mango

Ari and Fred before they were friends. He’s trying to take a bite out of her shoulder…aww, how sweet!

Ari Susu-Mago (codename: The Fuzzy Mango) is a writer, a reader, a psychology major, and an incurably compulsive adopter of orphaned plants. When not drinking tea with her friends, working on her first novel, or interning at a NYC literary agency, Ari enjoys speaking French, singing, and turning into a giddy child any time she finds herself in the presence of awesome dinosaur skeletons (you think we’re joking). She also loves theatre, linguistics, and history, but she does not claim to be an expert in any of these fields.

Should you wish to send Ms. Susu-Mago a letter, an urgent communiqué, or a poem professing your undying love for her right eyebrow (she’d rather you didn’t do the latter, though), you can email her at ari.susumago [at] gmail [dot] com.

Additionally, you may hear references in this blog to a certain Frederick Regency Raptor (a.k.a. “Fred”). He’ll appear from time to time on the blog, whenever he can be lured away from his study and his smoking jacket. He has also been charged with the care and keeping of a Tumblr. Supposedly it is Ari’s Tumblr, but all it takes is one look at the title to know where the real power lies.

And then there’s this Twitter business. (Don’t ask us how that works.)
